Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items while ensuring food safety standards are met. Your role will be pivotal in providing an exceptional experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to food safety guidelines.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate records of sales.
Demonstrate basic math skills for processing payments and managing inventory.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.

Requirements

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
